Health Insurance
Trying to figure out what kind health insurance you should purchase isn't easy for most people. There are things that you may not have taken into consideration prior to committing to a policy, causing a stressful situation.
  • Is it better to have a high deductible?

  • What if I/we have limited income?

  • How does my existing health issues affect what my options are?

  • My wife is a stay-at-home mom and we have 2 children; my benefits plan through my employer is too expensive to cover the entire family. What are my options?

  • What is the difference between a copay, deductible and "out-of-pocket"?

  • How do I know what is covered by my insurance plan?

Vision
Most eye-care experts recommend that you have a complete eye exam every one to three years, depending on your age and other factors. Children need regular eye exams to detect vision problems that may interfere with learning.
  • How often can I get my contact lenses/new frames for my glasses?

  • How often can I get check-ups?

  • Can I switch from glasses to contacts?

  • Is LASIK covered?

Dental
Teeth are important! Just as important as having dental insurance. The average cost for a routine cleaning (for patients without dental insurance) is $127. That alone would deter some people to make a dentist appointment!

  • The younger you are, the cheaper your payments will be

  • To pay final expenses

  • To cover children's expenses

  • To replace the spouse's income

  • To pay off debts

  • To pay off estate taxes

  • To buy a business partner's shares--(If involved in a business partnership, you need insurance on your partner’s life. The reason is so if he/she dies, you will have enough cash to buy his/her interest from his/her heirs and pay his/her share of the company’s obligations without having to sell the company itself.)

Life Insurance
If you're thinking about purchasing life insurance, the sooner you do it, the better; here are the reasons why:
  • Should I choose a PPO or an HMO?

  • Can I sign up anytime or do I have to wait for open enrollment?

  • How often can I get my teeth cleaned?

  • Are dental implants covered?

  • Do I have a maximum benefit amount?

  • Are braces covered?
